10 YEARS OUR LABEL RECORDS<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

-funk, soul, jazz & groovy stuff-<\/b><\/p>\n

In 2005 the brothers Tom and Gu founded Our Label Records in London to bring new Funk to the world on 7 inch vinyl. Their 10th birthday the label celebrates in its new home Hamburg and emotional home Bremen.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

On the 16th of May, we will kick off at 4 pm with Funk and cake at Hamburgs Groove City record store<\/a>\u00a0(free). From 8pm the Jazz Cafe of the legendary Mojo Club<\/a> will see not only their latest Funk 45 being officially unveiled but also presented live by Hamburg Funk freaks “Uebertribe”. Additionally, DJ Gu and Mune_RA will present finest Funk from the decks. Tickets are available now from\u00a0Groove City<\/a>, the\u00a0Jazz Cafe<\/a>\u00a0or Our Label at 7 \u20ac. On the door they sell for 8 \u20ac… if there is still space.<\/p>\n

A week later on May 23rd, the Urban Jazz Groove<\/a> – a format Gu shaped over the last two decades – will host an Our Label Special to honor the 10th anniversary. Following a concert by Ugly Duckling<\/a>, the Lila Eule, Bremen<\/a> will be transformed into a Funk cloud. DJ Gu and DJ Ubeyde will present their finest Funk vinyl all night long.<\/p>\n
